Prior to joining CACTX, Justin served as a prosecutor for many years, both in Harris County and Travis County. In the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, he reached the rank of Chief Felony Prosecutor and was honored to seek justice for crime victims, particularly child victims of physical and sexual abuse. Following his time in Houston, Justin made the move to Austin and served as the Chief of the Public Integrity Unit in the Travis County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to prosecution, Justin has a long history working in the field of public policy, most recently serving as Director of the Criminal Justice Committee for the Texas Senate.
